I didn't really know where to start with this quote, but I knew I wanted some scenery in the background so I started ripping bits of paper up to create a sort of mountainous landscape textureAnd then selecting bits out of it to fill with colour on photoshop, I then layered parts of the scans of mountains that I gathered before, on top.

I think these colours work well, they look really surreal and dreamy. I vaguely knew what I wanted for composition from the quick test collage I did before for this quote.
I imagined there to be a big moon within the skies, but I didn't want it to be too bright so to not take attention away from the detail in the sky.
I had trouble with the moon, because I was determined for there to be some hand drawn elements in the collage, so I tried drawing the moon.Nothing about this moon works, that pen work really doesn't fit with this collage style, the colour of the moon is quite sickly and doesn't have the same surreal haze over it. So I will have to play around a lot more to work out how the moon will look and where I can fit in analogue work.
