I've recently discovered Atelier Bingo - a collaborative duo of Maxime Prou and Adele Favreau, both illustrators and surface pattern designers
I love the liveliness of their work, exciting colours, patterns and textures. I've found myself getting interested in surface pattern, I really enjoy playing around with different textures, making patterns and then finding a way to apply it to my work. I love their experimental process with the torn bits of paper, playing around with layouts - I want to try make work more in this playful way.
